STUFF THUS FAR about me portraitI’m a happily displaced Australasian living it up in the EU. Previously the only person in New Zealand who didn’t like rugby; now the only person in the Alps who doesn’t like skiing.

Why start a blog? Well, why the hell not? After all, close to 200 million people already have (and I come from a country with more than 40 million sheep). What do sheep have to do with anything? I’m not sure, but don’t you find that to be a lot of sheep? (Did I mention there are only 4.4 million humans in New Zealand?)

I’m an avid reader; documentary fan; film fan (aren’t we all); I love eating, cooking, baking; art & design; travel is another passion of course.

Additional gratuitous facts: I always, always sing AC/DC’s You Shook Me All Night Long at karaoke (unless they don’t have AC/DC, in which case I sing Tina Turner); I have an adopted obese cat (not my fault, blame the previous owner); and no matter where I live in the world, there is always someone asking when I’m coming home.

Do I have anything worth saying? Sure, but that’s just my opinion. As a very dear (and rather ‘socially’ adventurous) friend of mine is oft to say: “Hell. Why not just suck it and see?”
